Leicester Charity Link Golf Day sponsored by Flowers Associates
Friday 15th October 2010 at Stapleford Park
Join us on Friday 15th October 2010 for a game of golf in the beautiful surroundings of Stapleford Park.
With ever-changing views and vistas the course at Stapleford Park is reminiscent of the great links courses of St Andrews. Its configuration provides variety in direction and breathtaking landscapes.
Tea, coffee and bacon rolls will be available upon arrival, and a two course lunch will be served in the Pavilion. Peter McGovern, Professional Golfer at The Belfry, will entertain as you relax after the day’s golfing. Proceeds raised on the day will be donated to Leicester Charity Link.
Only £250 for a team of four, which includes:
Tea, coffee and bacon rolls on arrival
18 hole green fees at Stapleford Park
Two course buffet lunch in the Pavilion
Guest speaker Peter McGovern, Professional Golfer at The Belfry
Awards presentation, raffle and auction

Fashion lovers raise £600 at the Midsummer Madness Fashion Show
Fashion lovers were treated to a Midsummer Madness fashion show by Debenhams at The Almanack, Highcross, Leicester, on what was a glorious midsummer evening. An amazing £600 was raised on the night all in aid of Leicester Charity Link.
Guests relaxed and enjoyed the show with a glass of bubbly and canapes all in the elegant surroundings of The Almanack. Shopping was also included, Emily Jane showcased gorgeous jewellery and silks, Kindred Soul showcased designer shoes. Thiaras Beauty was on hand for guests who needed their nails done.
A big thank you to everyone involved in making the night a great success, including The Almanack, Debenhams, Emily Jane, Kindred Soul and Thiaras Beauty.

Charity Family Fun Day hosted by NatWest
Our fun day was a great success and raised a grand total of £2,000. This money will go a long way to help the hundreds of local vulnerable people and children who come to us each week in desperate need.
A big thank you to NatWest Leicester Retail Telephony for hosting the day. Thank you to all our supporters, including The Case, Barcelo Hinckley Island Hotel, The Phoenix Partners, Fosse Shopping Park, F.J. Furniture, Leicester Tigers and The Works. Not forgetting everyone who came on the day.
It was a beautiful day, although a little windy. Everyone enjoyed themselves, whether that was bouncing on the bouncy castle, wrestlling in Giant Sumo Wrestling suits or simply enjoying a stroll around the stalls. The Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of Leicester accompanied by the Lady Mayoress officially opened the fun day and took time out to visit all those involved.
Fashion Show
Thank you to everyone who supported our fashion show which was hosted by Debenhams at the Highcross store on the 11th May - it was a great success!
Over £1,300 was raised during the evening; all of which will help vulnerable people and children who are experiencing poverty, hardship and crisis throughout our community.
